Poor Albert is terribly skinny, as he's struggling to eat... we're worried he might have caught a calicivirus!

1. He's so skinny!

Albert is a seven-year-old cat who is dreadfully skinny and incredibly timid. He recently found his way to one of our feeding sites. His difficulties with eating lead us to suspect that he might have calicivirus...

As soon as we manage to catch him and as soon as we have the financial means to do so, we will take him to the vet for examination!

2. Canned food would provide him with an efficient energy boost

Canned food, specifically designed for cats with painful mouths, could provide Albert with a source of nutrition that is easy for him to ingest.

Such a diet would help him regain weight and strengthen his immune system, which would facilitate his recovery!

3. New feeding sites, veterinary costs, lack of foster families: our association is under pressure!

We are currently facing significant financial challenges. Several collections have enabled us to cover various veterinary costs, but this has reduced our food budget!

We also recently had to take responsibility for a new feeding site, which means feeding an additional twenty cats! With the imminent arrival of the first kittens of the year and a shortage of foster families, our resources are stretched like never before...
